Before your spray tan session, shower, shave, and exfoliate at least 6 hours prior, ensuring no lotions, deodorants, or other products are on your face or body. Avoid showering within 6 hours of your airbrush tan, but if necessary, keep it brief to prevent open pores from retaining moisture, which can impact tan development. Complete any hair removal a day prior, as post-tan shaving or waxing can reduce the tan’s longevity. Avoid tinting brows or lashes the same day to prevent discoloration. Wear dark, loose-fitting clothing (baggy pants and loose shirts are ideal), and avoid jeans or tight workout gear. Flip-flops are preferred for footwear, but if it’s raining, bring loose shoes and socks to protect your tan.
